Female Empowerment in the Green Economy

Future Females Business School Green Tech Programme

Elize is committed to support female-owned enterprises that are entering new green industries.  She do this through her coaching work at Future Females Business School. She was instrumental to support Lauren and Cerina, the co-founders of Future Females Business School to design a GreenTech Program in 2021.

The GreenTech Program had three intakes of 60 female-owned enterprises in South Africa and is funded via the UK South Africa Tech HUB. Elize is a specialised GreenTech business coach in water, waste, energy, agri and green building.

The Future Females GreenTech Program runs in South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Brasil and Indonesia and thousands of female-owned enterprises are part of a community of thriving Green Enterprises.

Kenya is running a dedicated Climate Smart Agriculture GreenTech Program. Elize provided the e-learning modules content.

Female Multipliers in Circular Economy: Leadership

A huge shout out to PREVENT Waste Alliance and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH for offering this life-changing Leadership Program for female leaders in Circular Economy.

I enjoyed spending time (in person in Europe) with other women from 3rd world countries to learn about their leadership challenges and experiences in implementing Circular Economy initiatives. During our 1 week stay in Bonn, we used our time after class to document best practice recycling and upcycling examples in Germany that are linked to the EU Green Deal that shows potential to be implemented in our own countries. I loved the enthusiasm and hunger to learn and grow not only in ourselves but also in our local communities! Looking forward to a fellow country study tour to Columbia, Georgia, Albania, Kosovo, and South Africa.
